What do you think of ZML? - 12-06-2007, 03:57 PM

Hey everyone,

I wanted to know what everyone's thoughts were on zml.com? I signed up a couple of days to give it a run through and it looks like its living up to its hype. Ive downloaded a couple of movies at DVD quality, and the speeds are perfect (I didn't expect anything less for a site offering big files for download), the quality is very good for divx/xvid, but would like to see raw DVD images.

Anyone else tried zml?

(i put zml in the music shop forum, because it uses the same format and license to sell videos and since there is only one movie download shop that does it this way, no point in opening a new forum )

Customer Of: Mp3Fiesta, MP3sale, Legalsounds, MusicMP3 & MM

I think Dave C tried using ZML - right after I discovered it in September

Great site but impossible to pay with those ninkompoops from Chronopay.
I don't know if the SMS-possibility is working.
Anybody knows if you can pay if you use TOR?

Good memory Solaris. I have downloaded four or five movies from here, some in i-pod format and the others in divx. I have been pleased with all of them. I did not have any problems paying using Chronopay, and it let me pay with Visa rather than just the MasterCard option which you get with Chronopay on mp3sparks,
Cheers,
Dave C

I signed up for ZML a couple of days ago based on a post somewhere on one of the forums here.
I think it was on the Fiesta forum?
My Mastercard would not go through but managed to put 20 bucks on my Visa.
Downloaded Reno 911:Miami and all went well. It was not offered in DVD format so I got it in Divx.
Have not watched it completely but it appears to have good quality and so far I am happy with the service.Selection is good and it all works fairly easy.
I am new to video so I have a lot to learn. I had no idea what Divx was until I downloaded this video.
Where are these guys located? I am assuming Russia/Ukraine but the billing info for the card looks Italian.

The servers are located in Moscow - but their payment processor could very well be Italian

Do they have any russian films? To that point, are there any other sites that offer video similarly to MM - ipod compatible format, decent pricing, and russian/other selection??

Hi Frunze.

I have no idea if they have any Russian films - I guess you'll have to search their film database yourself to find out

None that I can see, and I don't see a button that would toggle me to see the site in Russian - leads me to believe English-speaking audience is its primary target market.

Sad - I would love to get some Russian movies on my iPod - how cool would that be?!
