1. Found I could right click in the DTA window and get everything unselected. Then, I could pretty easily select a batch of songs to download. Worked well.

Only thing that became problematic was that when I downloaded 3 albums at once, I ended up with a folder of songs I had to later segment out because they were 1-"songnamefromcd1".mp3, 1-"songnamefromcd2".mp3, 1-"songnamefromcd3".mp3 and so on, of course, with the actual song names.

2. Found I could set preferences to download up to 10 at a time in DTA.

If you're at some later point looking for an alternative download manager (or combo), the below described is what you should try out first:


If you use Firefox with the FlashGot extension (get it here: FlashGot - Best Firefox Download Manager Integration - what is it? - InformAction), you can use any downloader to "FlashGot All" tracks of an album and then filter away the links that don't contain a MP3 file extension.

And off you go with up to 3000 KB/Sec. on certain sites

Thanks Solaris! Do you use Free Download Manager AND FlashGot at the same time? What's the difference between the two, or should I say, what does each do for each other?
