Bitrate info of every track is added - 05-31-2008, 03:57 PM
Per requests of aom3 users that were expressed in the previous topic regarding advanced search we added information of every track bitrates to our site.

Now if you point your mouse to any track name you will see a short summary about a track.

Nice news, one minor niggle - the file size says 1.23 Mb Mb, one too many Mbs

Just checked out the site...I'm not fanatical about bitrates, but I usually won't buy anything under 192.

lavamus is a great site-well worth sticking some money on and having some real fun downloading! Preview option is great as are the prices and download speeds

Question Bit rate a bit low - 06-20-2008, 09:55 PM
Hi Lavamus,
I have just gone to download two albums from your site (Lavamus.com album :: My Brightest Diamond A Thousand Shark-S Teeth download-mp3 download mp3 & Lavamus.com album :: Sigur Ros Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust download-mp3 download mp3) and both are less than 192kbps. I know these are vbr, but is there no chance these could have been encoded at a higher bit rate? On the plus side, yours is the only site (which I use) which has these albums.

even if the encoding is v2, it's the same thing than 192kpbs but smaller files
