Yup, fair comment - can't argue with that one

Why to me this trash?

Michail,

Since you are a active reason of this Forum you got one too.
And to many of our members it is not trash, it is a pleasant surprise...

Bobwhite,

They have publicly on this site said they still have some old 128s left
a few months ago and will refund them. They can do no more.

Why so negative,my usually positive friend?....

Night, I was unaware of the history of them still having some 128s and stating so here, I was just agreeing with the original post..... Just my opinion,(kind of like going into the dollar store and paying $5 an item) and not intended to be perceived as negative. If they are going to list any bitrate they should list the lowest or restate it as "up to 192" that would be less missleading.... Hey I'm just a concerned consumer

Its all cool friend

Hey Bobwhite,

If I didn't think that Lavamus was a straight shooter, you know I would
be right behind yer bud.But in this instance I don't feel this is the case.

I have found 128's on EVERY sight of old catalogue. So it's not fair
to single out one site when it's just older stuff they had
before they became enlightened by the masses.....

And your right it's all cool......

Despite all of this I'm actually looking forward to giving Lavamus a whirl and seeing what their all about.

They are pretty cool, they have great "Live" stuff for free, even for us older cats that I know you would enjoy.Just keep a balance in of over 20$(and it can't be 20 on the nose it must be Over even by a dollar)..They give you 10
free a day..

I recommend it, knowing your tastes.

Vik, I got the tracks for free. I'm not "unhappy" about Lavamus offering to replace them, I very much appreciate the gesture. And if I had paid for them (forty-five cents), I would have asked for my account to be credited. Or if Lavamus had raised the topic first, I would have said, "Thank you, I accept."

But free? I'd be a chickens**t ingrate to be given free credit and then demand even more free credit.

So free or not(an I haven't even redeemed mine yet) I also would be dissapointed with 128 kbps, as I'm sure most of the heavy users they are trying to draw to their site would be also.
I thought the same way yesterday, before I started downloading, that every single track in the catalog has a bitrate of 192 kbps or better.

i repeat, if a track has a v2 bitrate, the quality is strictly the SAME than 192kbps
