Glad to have found Lavamus - 08-06-2008, 10:56 AM

I must admit to having stumbled upon Lavamus after going through the reviews on here. I think this is one of the better sites due to the fact it offers DVD rips and one track concerts (which are handy if you have a MP3 splitter). I was lucky I managed to get two Norah Jones concerts I had been after.
The free tracks if you have $20 balance makes for great additions to a collection. I dread to think how much I've spent in the past fortnight since I found it. I haven't luckily had any problems downloading or not getting my "free" tracks. I would recommend Lavamus to anyone especially if you're looking for DVD rips.

You've just stated in another thread that you've had some problems with them this morning - so which one is it: Problems or no problems

But there's no problems with Lavamus (or the couple of sister sites I've just checked) from where I'm sitting

Have you done the usual stuff: Clearing your cache/temporary internet files... etc?

Regards, viracocha

Lavamus is OK - 08-17-2008, 01:28 AM

I was able to credit my account from my credit card and have downloaded some music. The download process is not as convenient as Alltunes but it works.

I like Lavamus as well. A question for you: is there an easy way to search for the one-track concerts?

After reading that post 5 times I understood

Use search terms like "Live in", "live on", "live at"

I'd even add "live from"

... i think?

Of course you're right, Princess

For once I was too lazy to read those relatively few posts, which would have solved the mystery

Well Mr Lavamus originally told me that it was live in, live at and live on. No mention of live from but hey I'm acidhead so things often get a bit fuzzy.

Seem to be some disappointing tech issues at mo though...
