I came to think of something, which could explain WHY a lot of forum members have received gift codes, while others (many Members and Senior Members included) haven't...


I want you guys, who haven't received any code, to check something for me:

1. Left click User CP in the upper left corner

2. Left click Edit Your Details (in Your Control Panel to the left).

3. Scroll to the bottom of the site and check if there's a tick or not in the small box next to/below:

Accept Freebies From Aom3

If you want to receive freebies (free credit, gift codes etc..) then make sure you tick this box!

Yes, Send Me Freebies!

That logic would make sense in the subsequent giveaways, where it is required to be subscribed to receive freebies. However, in this one, Aom3 select 5000, so to speak, "active" members (As you yourself has so eloquently put - whether they are actively picking their nose, or supporting germany in their upcoming World Cup qualifications ).

I would guess that not all 14 of your accounts are subscribed to receieve freebies, and yet you recieved 14!

I have a better idea , which suddenly struck me when I went to the "Edit Options" sections of the User CP.

I wonder if the users who did not receive the Lavamus code have

"Receive email from Moderators"

UNchecked?

Certainly worth checking.

On the top of the page there is a new tab called- Freebies Mailing List.

open it up and follow the instructions.

See if that does the trick for you...
