New feature:Download multiple tracks with 1 click - 05-27-2008, 11:04 AM

We announce new feature that is highly demanded by our regular users who buy several music tracks and have to click every track in order to download them.
Now we integrated new feature into shopping cart. It's called "Download all tracks with one click".

When you user click this link in his shopping cart he will get checkboxes to select the tracks that he desires to download as one archive. Then user has to click "CREATE ARCHIVE" button and wait for some time till it's created. During this time internet browser will have "loading" status. Once the archive is created browser will prompt where to save it. After download is completed user will have to unpack the tracks anywhere on his PC and then enjoy the music.

If you experience any problems with it please send us PM.

Hey Lavamus, have just tried a multiple download & it creates a zip file - only problem is that when saved to my designated folder the zip file is completely empty & contains no tracks. Have tried several times but still no joy. The tracks by the way download perfectly individually

Cheers

Ashsarhaz93,
The problem really took place. We didn't expect this feature to become so popular.
Now everything seems to be fixed.
Please report if you have any more problems.

Thanks Lavamus, the feature works fine now. Downloaded over 50mb - 9 tracks all in a couple of clicks.

Your customer service is excellent - keep it up...

Have you got a zip file extractor programme installed on your PC, mine didn't work until I got an unzipping utility. One can be found by following this link: jZip 1.2 - Computeractive

Thank you for your advice. As for us we have WINRAR (one can get it from download.com) and it works fine.

We are performing upgrades now and servers are slower than usual. That's why archive function is not working perfect at the moment.
Sorry about these inconviniences.

I did not get as far as unzipping, it was the action of trying to set up a ZIP FILE in the first place on the site.

Hmmmm, not sure about that then. Here's how I do it: I select all the tracks I wish to purchase & go through the purchase procedure. Once all the tracks I have just purchased appear in the purchased tracks section, I then click all the ones I wish to download & then click the link to download the tracks in 1 click. The Lavamus software then does it's bit by creating the zip file (this can take up to a few minutes) Once it has done it's work it then asks you where you wish to save the file. Please remember, if you have no unzipping utility on your PC it will not recognise the file type sent by lavamus, & that file will not show as a zip file.

Hope this may help
