Recurring problems downloading - 06-28-2008, 11:54 AM

Once a month this happens: I buy my tracks and try several times to download them - and all I get, whichever of the tracks I select, was an interminable message "Getting File Information"

In other words, the globe to folder icon never switches to download action. Eventually a day or two later it seems to work again. But this is the third time in 3 - 4 months .... and you don't want the hassle / or the wait

No probs elsewhere or with my PC generally. Now to add to it all, I try to up my credit and the screen won't accept Visa or MBNA (so what does it want?!)

Sorry my first post is a whinge - but come on Lav. surely you can do better on all this?

Welcome Colin,

I am sure sooner or later a few "experts" will come along to help you out.
It is entirely possible the problem is in your computer, but I am not one of the "experts"!
Hang on.

It's sad that our site does not have here on aom such a devoted and high-tech-educated users like BENV () who explains and helps to solve all the possible and impossible problems with mp3skylines download manager.

But anyway if you have any problems with downloads you can drop a request to our support team and they will investigate your particular case and try to solve it for you.
Please PM us your login email.

colink, i had a similar problem for a while when i was in a country where the
internet connection was not very stable. turned out it was not really the provider
as such, but the (satellite + fiber) connection between them and the rest of the world.

as there was some inconsistency worldwide about week++ ago, i suggest you might
also consider and check into this. such a synchronizing problem gets enhanced and
doubled and tripled if points of the chain are weak.

greets - henry
