:thumb: free concerts on lavamus - 07-04-2008, 11:31 AM

there are a lot of wonderful live concerts in the "free download" area. (Spock's Beard, futureheads, radiohead, doors, nada surf, yes, jethro tull, coldplay, metallica, wayne shorter, thelonious monk ..........). the only specification to download is to have more than 20 $ in your balance - then 10 downloads are free per day.
just listening to radioheads "rainbow" performed live at BBC Theatre 01-04 - great concert - great service!

I agree, bokr.

This is a great service that Lavamus provide.
I downloaded Metallica live at Rock Am Ring in Germany this year, which is excellent (not a great bitrate, but fine performance from the band).

Hey bokr,

How are you? How was the NadaSurf recording?

Yes Lavamus has quite a few treasures there to be found.

Take care,

In the free concert area, when I've selected "rock", I see page 1 and scroll through the list, then hit "2" or next, etc. Every time I've reached "4" the site goes into eternal can't load pages. Same thing happened when I tried "pop" but on page 2.

Such a nice offering, but frustrating to look through and get stopped when I'm on a roll.

Anyone else experience this or am I just a hex on Lavamus' site?

I always look by artist that I'm interested in and look for their free offerings.
Always works like a charm.....

Thanks, that's a good option. I like to scan the pages though for bands/artists I might not have thought of.
