Background Info
Millisong first popped up on the radar in September 2007 although the site appears to have existed since August 2006 without being noticed by many people. Based in St. Petersburg and authorized by the license 44/ZM-07 of the Rightholders Federation for Collective Copyright Management of Works Used Interactively (FAIR) Millisong has a fairly unique selling point in that all albums on the site are offered at a whopping 320kbps.

The top 3 user countries for Millisong are:
Russia 21.1%
Ukraine 8.5%
Slovakia 8.5%

It’s probably a little soon to talk about Millisong’s reliability or longevity but thus far the site appears to be quite reliable and robust.

Fair review Nightfly.
If what you want is on there then this is a good site, with a great format at a fair price, I like this site a lot.
ALL sites have problems and this site is no different. Most albums seem to take a while to appear if at all and although I like the ZIP feature, you never quite know what is happening in the dialogue box, i.e. how long to go and how big the file, resuming is not supported?, and shame there is no bonus feature.

Despite all this, Millisong is still a favourite of mine, mainly because of its 320kbps and fair price.

A better catalogue and bonus scheme would get them closer to 90% where they deserve to be.

I didn't write the review I just put it on the site from rutunes,another of my esteemed colleagues wrote it.I wrote other ones though.

I'm so pleased to see that Milisong have invested in their site. There's still some way to go but it is turning into a really great site
