Background Info
The intrepid traveller sometimes finds himself in a strange city, looking for somewhere to shelter for the rain. Entering a strange establishment, for a brief moment he thinks he has stepped back in time: taken aback by the decoration which appears to stem from a time long gone - not worn and tatty, but simply weird and out of date. A similar experience awaits the intrepid internet traveller when, looking for that elusive music track, he stumbles upon MP3Fiesta.com. The strange shop in the strange city often turns out to be a treasure trove full of bargains, and MP3Fiesta's psychedelic 1960's throwback colour scheme belies a surprisingly large and varied collection of music new and old, at prices of typically $0.10 per track.

MP3Fiesta is one of a surprisingly large number of Russian music sites offering DRM-free music at prices that mean you don't need to think twice. It is a little unusual in that, according to WWW tracker Alexa, its largest user group does not come from the home country, but from the USA:

United States 7.9%
Russia 5.0%
Czech Republic 4.5%
Ukraine 3.7%
United Kingdom 3.7%

They operate under ROMS licence LS-3M-P-06-94, stating on their site that they pay "Authors, Artists and other Copyright holders their fair dues". Contact details (email addresses for site administration and customer support, a telephone number and a street address) are clearly listed.

A helpful site tour link at the top of the index page (it's not really a tour, but just a simple introduction to the site) gives new visitors an idea what to expect and how the system works. And off we go!

Thumbs down Never Forgiven For 100% Price Rise

I used to like the site because the quality was not too bad and many albums cost $1.
Some weeks ago that all changed and prices more than doubled overnight without warning. I believe the original author is wrong with their $0.15 per track, I believe it is a minimum of $0.20 per track and even higher depending on file size now. Now you can pay top money for a bad bitrate.
I will only use now when I have no choice and to top it all their rep does not appear on here anymore, not recommended.

Yes Chris, I am also very surprised the review hasn't been updated with the latest facts. Misrepresentation indeed

I wouldn't rate their bonus scheme as an 8 either, from what I remember it was nothing fantastic.

While i won't excuse the business descision in doubling thier price overnight without telling their customers, I have always found mp3fiesta as a reliable backup. They are a shop like musicmp3, who have so far offered a solid service without too much interruption. While mp3fiesta isn't my primary choice, i would still recommend it.

I would rate musicmp3 as a much superior site to mp3fiesta. I've never had a problem once with musicmp3, and although they have a lower profile on this site I would recommend them as a good alternative - with unlimited downloads of purchases.

My words EXACTLY, Kaeli

MusicMP3.ru is (along side Soundsbox.com) the best site for obtaining NEW releases - and they are arguably also the two most stable sites of them all
