I noticed that MP3Sparks pays royalties to FAIR instead of ROMS and thereby bypassing the Chronopay boycott of ROMS.

The availability over the Internet of the Mp3Sparks.com materials is authorized by the license 31/ZM-07 of the noncommercial partnership Rightholders Federation for Collective Copyright Management of Works Used Interactively (NP FAIR).

I wonder if The Big 4 will let them off the hook with this change of name. They are apparently surrendering one of their biggest assets: the AllOFMP3 name, which 75 % of the world population seem to know by now.

Hi Everybody

I read that allofmp3 is changing its name to mp3sparks. I checked out the site and it is basically a copy of AOMP3.
Does anybody know, if that means that they will shut down AOMP3 soon and only have mp3sparks available?

Just because it was a pain in the ass to get my balance refilled. Any hints when I should spend the balance before it´s lost?

if you can't refill, go to your balance and you can switch to mp3sparks

I can't refil my balance and im on mp3sparks

Also, the support team aren't that great, i get an automated response when i send them a question about how i refil it.

I sent them a message and recieved a reply saying "Try pay via mp3sparks.com again"

I sent them another message, reworded but the same idea and got the message "Try pay via mp3sparks.com again"

I'm going to send them another message, and if it doesn't work after this, i'm going to have to give up on allofmp3
Ah well, it was great having cheap, legal(ish) music while it lasted.
