$25 smallest minimum payment? - 01-22-2008, 07:31 PM

Wohoo, mp3sparks is back up! (at least where I am).

But then for the bummer. I wanted to refill my account, but the lowest payment offer was $25. It used to be $10, which already took me forever to use.

Anybody noticed this too? Is there a reason for this policy shift?

Personally, I think $25 is quite a lot, especially since the future of mp3sparks is all but secure.

It's been like this for quite awhile for everyone.
And at this time there is no way to refund your balance.
They are not taking any payments at this time at all.

Please go to Rutunes.com to see alternative sites, where they are
excepting funds and have excellent catalogues.

Hmmm. Disappointing.

It is sad that allofmp3sparks can't just operate like a normal business.

It's not that they can't - they just aren't given the opportunity. Having to jump through fire hoops, bend like a contortionist, and perform disappearing acts, isn't something they chose on their own.

I've been to Rutunes and looked at their music shops. Got 1 free doenload from MPSSale 'shop' on Sunday - BUT was then unable to add any money to my new account using their Web Money prog. which just brings back old/new memories of trying to add money to my allTunes account - harder sometimes than attempting to fly - with your arms flapping feverishly.....
And CMpass - is STILL down.
I give up - almost.
Back to iTunes - anybody ?
Surely - thee JUST has to be an EASIER WAY ¿?

Hi petra.blanke.

Why don't you use one of their several other payment options instead? (see attachment) Why use their most complicated one?

And giving up after testing just one other music store (to use STILL NOT DRM-FREE iTunes) hardly seems like an alternative
