I just registered on Mp3Sparks and selected an album to download. It complained that my balance was $0 and directed me to payment options . Clicked on "Add money by Credit Card" , selected $25 , clicked on "Confirm payment" and I get :

"Unfortunately credit card payment is not available at the moment. Please come back later or try another method of payment"

So, I registered at AllPay.cc but when I clicked on "BUY" it complained :

"We are temporary closed for maintenance."

So, last option. I clicked on "Pay with CMPASS pin code" . I was directed to register at cmpass.com but all I get is "Connecting to cmpass.com..." in my browser status bar after which it eventually times out.

So, I have no way to purchase music through Mp3Sparks. This seems like a "little" problem.

Anyone know what's going on?

Hi jdb2 and welcome to the forum

I think you've covered the basic payment options quite succinctly, though there are others which also don't work any more. This has been the position for some weeks now. And no, I'm afraid nobody here knows what's going on.

You might like to consider registering with one of the other music stores. There are reviews at our sister site http://www.rutunes.com, and also a discussion forum here http://www.aom3.org/forum/music-shops/ . They accept payments.

Thanks! The problem though is that I've tried most of those sites and they either don't have what I want or don't offer it in the format / at the quality I want . I need at least 320kbps OGG -- FLAC would be even better.
None of the sites *EXCEPT* Mp3Sparks offers 320kbps OGG for the album I want and no one as far as I know offers FLAC .
