Unhappy Balance didn't refill--HELP!! - 12-04-2007, 07:30 PM

I submitted a payment via Paypal mastercard Sunday night and my balance did not refill. Usually, it refills instantaneously and I can start buying music again right away. Now, two days later, my balance is still not refilled. AOMP3 shows that I have made a payment, Paypal has the transaction as pending (has NEVER happened in the past), and I am stuck here with $0.11 balance, not able to purchase music. Could it be a club credit issue (I used 2 in the past)? I am hesitant to try and refill it again because I don't want my money to be taken if the balance is not going to refill. In other words, being out of $50 bucks one time is okay as I have saved sooooooooo much money using AOMP3 anyway, but a second time would not be so fun. I sent a help request to Assistance, but haven't heard back yet. What can I do or should be done to rectify this? Has anyone else had this problem? I have used my Paypal mastercard numerous times in the past without any problems--please help! Thanks, Mary

If PayPal has the transaction stated as pending, then you haven't lost any money (yet) and this must also be the reason that MemphisMembers still hasn't upped your balance with those $50.

I seem to remember that PayPal very recently has made a plug-in that you are supposed to use, when you visit online stores that normally don't take PayPal. Could that be it?

When exactly did you write MemphisMembers Assistance?

If you're desperate to refill your account, then use phobozad's service in the meantime: allTunes Gift Certificate Request

I sent the following to Assistance Monday (yesterday--I don't know what country you are in )--the text I sent to Assistance is between the << and >>. The way I had been refilling is by going to Balance tab on Alltunes, selecting refill, and then enter my info to refill there. And, usually, badabing-badabang--it refilled and I was good to go. I'm sad...so very sad.... I would rather get this fixed and all instead of going through another backdoor way of refilling my alltunes balance. Help, help, help.....

Hi Mary.

If you have a club credit, then it means that you are a MemphisMember. So instead of writing allTunes Assistance, you should be writing MemphisMember Assistance. If you do that, you'll get a faster reply

How much is your club credit anyway? If it's less than $25, then this couldn't be the problem...

Your club credit roof is $50

Wow, you must have spent in the excess of the really big spenders, we had coming through our forum this summer, when we were recommending high rollers to MemphisMembers. We had like 4-5 in the interval between $2000-$8000.

If you have contacted MM Assistance, then you should just sit tight.

Since this probably isn't an issue for which they have one of those standardised answers, I'm pretty sure they will bring your case to someone up higher in their hierarchy.

It could take 24-48 hours before you receive an answer, if it is like that...

I have easily spent more than $2000US on music since I joined a few years back. I am quite saddened by the problems I am having as I usually buy a few albums a day and have not been able to do so for more than a week. Anyhoo, the payment has cleared my paypal account now, but my balance still did not refill. So, I sent the following text to both Alltunes and MemphisMembers. The text is between the << and >>. I am getting on the verge of getting angry now since the money has truly been taken out of my bank account and I still have no balance refill. Anyone knows what I should do at this point????
