Unhappy cmpass.com - 06-07-2008, 10:15 AM

At the moment the Paypal side of it is not working, probably had a flood of requests and hopefully it is only for a short while. But I am not so sure, I used cmpass.com and xrost.com before hand some years ago to fund my old allofmp3 account, and they stopped working before on allofmp3 for years infact. They seem to have only recently resumed doing business with sparks.

I have opened a complaint in the Paypal Resolution Centre against Jonathan Rowsell, to whom my $10 went to, this gives him 20 days before you have to escalate the complaint or cancel it. I believe if everybody who is owed money from him via Paypal did the same, then it would signal to the man our intent, and I believe it would also put pressure on him/cmpass.com to do something quickly about this problem?

Who is this guy, Jonathan Rowsell? You mean he is the owner of CMPass?

I do not know, probably not, but in my Paypal account of receipts, it is his name that appears?

All Payment options in CMPass no longer available... - 06-07-2008, 11:24 AM

Tried the PayByCall option. Doesn't seem to work anymore....heard an automated voice saying "Number no longer exist. Please check your number and dial again" .....

But....luckily for me.....I have enough top-ups and vouchers to last me till doomsday.

Need to wait for another year (or more).....till the next option is available again.....

paypal working again !!! - 06-07-2008, 12:02 PM

Hi there!

Having checked this forum for quite a while now,
it's time to say hello to everyone

and my first post is hopefully a good one for all of you.
I was just able to use cmpass again (= 5 minutes ago).

The balance has been added to my mp3sparks account with no problems.

jigsaw,
which option did you use to top up your account? PayByCall or txtNation (PayPal)?

Update - 06-07-2008, 01:52 PM

I have just received an email from Jon Rowsell (Director) with an apology for all the problems I have had, not only is he sorting it out for me, he also reads this thread/forum!
