I am in the US and can't seem to get a call to go through. I have Vonage for my home service, which is supposed to offer free calls to some of these places (the UK, Italy, France), but I get messages that say the numbers I dial are not valid. One time I was able to get through, but the message said that all lines were busy.

So I decided to download Skype, because I thought it was free... Nope, you have to send them money to be able to make international calls. So I send them some funds, and I keep getting error messages that say the numbers I attempt to dial aren't valid, or if that doesn't happen, I get internal error code 9603, and Skype tech support will reach me in "24-48 hours".

The text message option for me isn't available, since I apparently can't get international text messages, I can't do Money Bookers for the same reason (they have to send a verification text message to my phone), and I am very hesitant to initiate a wire transfer with them for fear of fraud. All I want to do is load some funds onto my allofmp3sparks account! Does anyone have any thoughts? I can't be the only one having so much trouble.

Ok, so I was finally able to get through on Skype using the number to France. CMPASS says that the call should last 23:32, and at the 23:00 mark, the call just dropped. CMPASS said that the call ended too soon and therefore, my booking is invalid. You know, I hate giving up, but I might be getting pretty close to that point.

I really hope that they bring back Paypal because I'm in the States also and don't have a cell.

They need to figure out something soon.

kevinwill1, paybycall work fine for me with skype. Just need to ensure that you have sufficient funds in your skype account and clear internet connection (no other activities) for the next 23 mins.

I can confirm that cmpass paybycall works in the usa. I have tried the method that Vice mentioned above using skype and calling the France #. it is a 23 min call ($0.45 a min) for a $10 voucher.

Just wanted to add: I had no problem with the dropped call, but I have used the France # only once. When the Luxumberg # was working I used that 4 or 5 times with no problem

Put money on Skype to add money to PaybyCall but guess what none of the numbers seem to be working from Skype. It did work with the French number but that is not an option now. Any suggestions?

Try the UK number. If the paybycall one doesn't work, try thru txtnation - set your country to the UK, select pay by phone and follow the directions. Note that this ended up costing $14.85 because skype rounds up to the next minute and it doesn't count the time it takes you to type in the order # towards your payment.
