Unhappy CMPass PayByCall error - 06-14-2008, 12:31 PM

Hi there!

I managed to successfully top up my MP3Sparks account using PayByCall to get a CMPass on the second attempt. The first time I tried though, the page went from "call in progress" back to "waiting for your call". The call completed (and I was billed for it), but no CMPass PIN number etc showing in the orders page.

I e-mailed the contact addresses listed on the contacts page several days ago, no contact back as yet. I also contacted my phone company who (as I expected) said there was nothing they could do, I needed to contact CMPass itself.

Does anyone have any advice on what I should do next (short of write off my $20!)?

I faced similar problems too. Lost a few bucks on PayByCall method. It either terminated early or the website show error messages during the call.
Now, the phone no. seems to be down.

Contacted support@cmpass.com, on 3 occasions....no reply till date.

I have a feeling, they can't understand english...maybe need to write your mail in Russians

At least it wasn't just me!

I'll avoid PayByCall in future, lots of people seem to be okay with the TxtNation method (and if they get issues, they appear to get replies!).

I'll write off my $20 and put it down to experience... sigh.

While I know that Sparks Assistance is terrible, it mightn't be a bad idea to drop them a line.. There's obviously some connection between them and CMPass as CMPass only seems to be available when Sparks isn't in murky waters.. So it may be worth a shot, considering not one person that I know of has received a response from CMPass... Other than that, to the $20

Fair comment, I'd try it now but the website appears to be down...!

PayByCall option seems to be more stable now. Managed to top-up another $50 using PayByCall option.

I think it is less complicated to use PayByCall option....just need a few mins waiting time.
