Although I never compared the sound quality of mp3sparks' lossless music files to their lossy counterparts, lossless was my preferred format. I don't know where to go on the internet for lossless music files without mp3sparks.
I really don't understand why the recording industry has shunned making high-quality music files available of their artists. You'd think that they would try to get out in front of this and lead the way towards an ideal internet distribution model. As it is, they've lost ALL control. Personally, I haven't experienced the downside to DRM. However, I really do not want lossy music, and I can't be alone in my preferences.
For now, I'm purchasing CDs again as it's where music quality and DRM are non-issues. It makes me feel like I'm back in the last decade. But oh well, 90's music was pretty good,... it's the 80's music that really sucks.
