Hi all. I'm a new member, but have been periodically checking this forum for quite some time looking for any new news on funding options for MP3sparks. It looks like there may be an option now for us US'ers. I didn't see an option for premium SMS. Has anyone else from the states had any luck? Thanks a bunch!!

No, it was only $10.99 for a $10 credit. I have a pay as you go phone so I got dinged for each text message. Here's how the process works:

Once you enter your phone number and e-mail address, you will get a confirmation page. If you proceed, you will recieve a text message informing you of the requested transaction. It says to respond with "Y" in the message, and what to do if that doesn't work (send a manual reply). I had to do the manual reply. All the while, the website tells you what the status of the transaction is. Once your response is received, you will receive 2 more messages. These are where the transactions actually occur. I'm not sure why they're separate, but one is for $9.99 and the other is for $1.

You'll receive a password at the e-mail address you entered earlier. Enter this and the Turing number to get your CMPass pin and order number. I had trouble with the Turing number a couple times (I think 1s look like ls or something). Once you have these, you can go back to mp3sparks and get your $10 credit.

I may attempt to figure out if one of the other options works. Since I'm gonna want to charge my account up several more times, I'd rather not get dinged for 4 messages each time.

Sorry Loreen, the option you want to do it this way is "Pay by SMS (Mobile / Cell Phone)". I've only done it once so far but it worked without any snags.

Just to clear up some confusion... there WAS an option for PayPal... and It did work for me, but it's no longer available.

Hi all - US member here. Tried cmpass pay with txt nation and received the following reply "the transaction could not be processsed as it is over the per transaction limit of 4.99. please try a different service".

Seeing as how this was the only option, I am now out of options. Unless someone wants to PM me and I will buy an allTunes Pin Code? Please?

Any ideas? My allTunes/MP3 Sparks balance just ran out and I'm desperate. Will also buy pin codes if anyone is willing...

I am happy to say that I was finally able to refill my balance using CMPass.

So, all I did when it came to the mEnable screen, I selected Pay by SMS (Mobile / Cell Phone) payment which then takes you to a new screen that shows

3. Select Prefered Processor
The default is to Premium SMS (text message) however if you open the pull down menu you will find another processer Mobill Cash.

I used Mobill Cash however I was lucky because if you live in the US in order to use the Mobill service you must either have AT&T or AllTel wireless account.

After you select Mobill Cash it will walk you through the rest of the procedure. One other tip is that I found the CMPass website worked better with IE instead of FF.

It took just a matter of a few minutes for each $10.70 purchase but it was worth the effort because my mp3Sparks account once again is sitting fat and sassy!

Can someone/anyone write a step by step instruction for SMS'ing for someone who has never done that? Can all cell phones SMS? I have a pretty cheap phone with a pay as you go AT&T account.
