Unhappy failure to get the order number with cmpass - 12-03-2007, 11:12 AM

Hi everybody!

this is my very first post here.

I'm a mp3sparks user.
So today as usual i got my txtpassword - with paypal - but when i tried to put it in the main box along with the turing number, in order to get the order number, i got this message:

UPDATE numbers SET customer_id = 167776 WHERE pk= You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

and then, when i went back to retry, my password has expired. What can i do?

What's wrong with it?
please help me!!!

Nothing but a really badly disguised sql exception. Suggest telling Assistance about it.

Hi gio78 and welcome to the forum

Since I have never tried to go the CMPASS route myself, I will leave your question to those, who have some experience with this payment option...

If no one has answered your question sooner, then Nightfly will be online later today and I'm sure he'll be able to help you out in some way (at least better than I'm capable of)

As for the more technical part of your question maybe gluteus maximus will know what your kind of error message refers to...

So stay tuned for those guys

In the meantime you should try to mail CMPASS Assistance and ask them what you are supposed to do now:

Technical support: support@cmpass.com or
Payment questions: payments@cmpass.com

It's not a user-friendly error message. Just an exposed DB error. Like I said above - suggest writing Assistance about it. Don't believe GM will have more to add that that.

Hi princess

I posted my message two minutes after you - but had been working on it for 10 minutes or so, so I didn't know you already had an answer ready

I figured it's something like that. Just wanted to make sure my one-liner doesn't get missed
