I Give In . . . . - 08-19-2007, 12:32 PM

How can trying to buy something ever be so complicated ???

I used XRost before but after several attempts have now succeeded in buying a CMPass token via txtnation. I was sent a password and ID ref by e-mail which I then re-entered into the CMPass site (using the txtnation option) - this generated a two part reference which I can see in my Order History on CMPAss.
(e.g. nnnnnnnn-nnnnnnnn)

However AllTunes does not accept this as a valid PIN code.

What do I do, I'm now completely lost and confused

Cheers

You are entering those two codes in the two separate windows on the CMPASS payment Alltunes page here: allTunes pin-code purchase
right? If you are trying to enter that as an Alltunes pin-code (just one number) it isn't going to work.

If you did enter them on the correct page, did you try switching them around?

I've two different sets of codes;

The password (6 char alpha-numeric) and ID (7 char numeric) initially sent from txtnation by e-mail.

I entered these back into the box at the bottom of the options (e.g. buy by credit card / phone / SMS etc) on the CPpass screen and a two-part number was generated (two 8 digit numbers separated by a hyphen nnnnnnnn-nnnnnnnn).

It's the latter one I can see on the CPpass order screen, stating that it has been issued.

Using the link you have suggested (which takes me to the AllTunes login page, then to the PIN submission screen) Alltunes just comes up with "Invalid Pin" whichever of the above number sets I enter.

Where am I going wrong ?

Thanks

AHA ! Sorted . . . .

It was the nnnnnnnn-nnnnnnnn PIN code but the ID had changed between the e-mail and the Orders Processed screen.

So many codes - so little time.

Now, lets see if I can get my AllofMP3 account moved to MP3Sparks

Thanks again

Nothing wrong with MP3Fiesta, but they don't give you the choice of formats that Sparks does. It isn't *really* hard to fund Sparks either. You just have to learn what to do.

Does your paypal account have the right email address for you?

I actually got 2 emails, with the "from" being txtNation, but the address they sent it to is the one I have registered with paypal.

I know this because I use email forwarding with a different email address for each of my business accounts .

One had a subject of "online confirmation" the other "online payment".
