Moneybookers CC payments blocked? - Apparently not... - 06-16-2008, 08:24 AM

First of all, great news with being able to refill.

I have attempted to send money via CC to moneybookers and it has said the following error:
"Your account is locked for outgoing transfers and credit/debit card payments therefore we cannot complete this transaction.

To unlock your account, you must upload funds into your Moneybookers account via bank transfer. "

I have tried this with a second moneybooker account with different email address and my second credit card and recieved the same message.

Any suggestions on this?

Moneybrokers - 06-16-2008, 09:59 AM

Works fine for me, I just payed 10usd to CMPass. Only MP3Sparks seems to be down right now....

Sparks is down here in the UK too, but allTunes is still working fine.

Yes that's right, problem is that you can't use the CMPass code on Alltunes...

anec, fine with me and some friends too, last few days. may i ask what country you are from,
and if you are logging in from the same country?

otherwise, same suggestion as given before: their hotline is good and really available, both
by phone and email, and usually sorts out things (or at least explains them) properly.

I have to clear something up here, you CAN pay with your CMPass code at Alltunes but only on the website: alltunes.com not via there fantastic downloadengine.

Yesterday i made transaction to Moneybookers and 2 hours ago got password for CMPASS. Without any problems..

CMPass & Moneybrokers - 06-16-2008, 03:45 PM

Today I twice paid 10 usd through CMPass, the moment I clicked on pay I received an e-mail with all the necessary codes. I works perfect!

An update........

I recieved very good customer service from Money Bookers today.

They changed my country to USA, which was an initial mistake on my part. They also unlocked my account to allow CC transactions.(It was blocked for an unknown reason).

One part they did miss was changing my country code to the correct one. So I still can't verify any transaction till they get that fixed.

Overall, I'm just pleased to get a response withing 24 hours.
