Recently set up Moneybookers account and worked first time. Now unable to make payments. Anyone else having issues with Moneybookers payments or is the issue txtnation?

Yea the MBs option via TxtNation is not working.. it appears as if its a MB issue...at least according to the error message given when u try to pay using them. Hopefully its temporary and it doesnt go the way of PayPal .. keeping my fingers crossed..as i uploaded $20+ to MB trying to fill my Sparks balance..and now im stuck w/ that money @ MB and nothing to do with it.

Personally I thought it was a txtNation problem:

Payment to moneybookers@txtnation.com
TOTAL PAYABLE : 5.50 GBP

This was from the Moneybookers page and it indicates to me that it is txtNation that is not accepting payments from moneybookers.

Txtnation is a member of this board and has posted here in the past so perhaps he will see this and look into it for us.

I have exactly the same problem: when I try to pay via Moneybookers, I have the following message:

Payment to moneybookers@txtnation.com TOTAL PAYABLE: 5.50 GBP
Error
The recipient's account cannot receive payments at the moment. You may wish to contact the intended recipient for further information.

Welcome to the forum - I am sure some of the more senior members will be along soon with a more 'official' welcome, but I will have to for now

Anyway back to the problem. I wish I could say I can help but unfortunately I think we will all have to wait to see what pans out. I did log a support ticket with txtNation via their website this morning but as yet I have not received a reply.

It seems that as soon as we seem to have got a new easy method of funding out account it all goes t*ts up

As you have discovered, there seems to be a problem with txtnation accepting payments via Moneybookers at the moment.
I would suggest e-mailing txtnation support, or send a PM (personal message) to TxtNation who is a member here and a rep. from the company.
Let us know how you get on.

Yes not good news at all.. noticed that MB was removed from the dropdown menu..and only LUUP is left. Sad indeed as it appears to be goin the way of PayPal
