Angry Problems with CMPASS/txtNation - 09-21-2007, 07:50 PM

Last night I purchased three $10 codes through CMPASS using txtNation. I'd done this in the past with zero problems. My passwords were emailed me and when I went to use them on CMPASS each one told me the password was expired and I couldn't use it. My account was not credited and I couldn't load anything on MP3Sparks. I tried emailed txtNation's support like the email said and received an email back that my messages were not processed and was directed to their website. After following their 'resolution prompts' I was directed to a page that told me they are not responsible for bad passwords. At this point I sent more emails to CMPASS. Today I thought I would try another payment to see what happened and CMPASS now shows that the txtNation payment method is suspended.

Paypal will not accept claims for the three bad passwords because an item was not physically sent to me. So now I have to file everything with my bank. Not a huge deal but just a huge pain.

I hope no one else is having any problems.

What makes it even worse is that the channels to get a refund or a new password aren't working either. If you try to send a message through the txtNation website it tells you the server is down try again in 15 minutes. It's unfortunate but at least I'm not out of all options yet for trying to get my funds returned. I still have the dispute with my bank.

Sent replacement codes - 09-24-2007, 08:53 PM

I had two failed top-ups on the evening of the 20th, so I had stopped trying that night. However, I did email all of the contact addresses I could find associated with the transactions, and I got a response back today from the email address associated with the PayPal funds recipient (paypal@corporate-online.net). The replacement codes I received worked.




TXTNATION WROTE:
Dear AUSTraveler,

Good day, thank you for contacting txtNation, I have generated you a new password which you can use to top-up your credit for CMpass.

Your first password for $10 card is: xxxxxx
Your second password for $10 card is: xxxxxx

We apologize if you encountered some problems last 21 September, because :: CMPASS Prepaid Card has just recently updated their system due to unexpected maintenance and for this reason you will experience some difficulty completing your transaction for CMpass.

They have now completed the updates on their system and you can continue on making transaction to CMpass.

I apologize for the inconvenienced, If you have any further question please do not hesitate to contact us.

Same Problem - 12-21-2007, 10:04 AM

last Sunday I purchased e-money for 20 US Dollars at CMPass but I didn’t get any information about PIN and/or claim ID right after the call. I asked 4 times via email but I didn't get a single answer. The german company, which collets the money for the russians, sends it not directly to russia, but first to Clearpulse AG
Lindenhof 4, 6060 Samen, Schweiz and one of their emailadresses is: Link removed

I removed the e-mail link because not all the forum members are adults - I hope you understand

There could be many reasons for them to hide behind such fake e-mail addresses - but one is pretty obvious, if you have been a customer of AllOfMP3/MP3Sparks the last 1½ years.

The pressure/bribing from the RIAA must be a hard thing to try to withstand, if you don't do things like these...

I nearly forgot...

Have you STILL not received the pin code and claim ID - because if you haven't, then you would the first forum member to have waited for such a long time without either response or replenishment

Hello solaris, thanks for your warm greetings. No, I don't have any answer, and that was the reason, I posted my experiances here in this forum, to warn other users. But you know: Making business with the russians is like dancing with an ice-bear ;-)
