first of all, thanks for the replies everyone.
sadly problem not solved though-has anyoneone tried these methods this week- i tried the link you gave me to the gut who does prepay, but on his page he says he's not accepting any new accounts, only existing ones.
so then i tried the cmpass option recommended- it let me get so far, but then after specifying payment method it said'this recipient is currently unable to receive money' has anybody managed it succesfully lately?
really don't want to go and get a mastercard just for this..
am temporarily losing the will to live..
any ideas anybody(the less complicated the better)

I'm sure some the guys, who use CMPASS regularly, will tell you what you should do next - but until then...

Which file format is the one you prefer? If it's MP3, then try out some of the other online music stores.

I can really recommend SoundsBox, where Assistance is very good at getting the albums you ask for. MusicMP3 and MP3Sale are also two of my favourites.

But it also really depends on which kind of music you're into - so check them out

thanks for the info- i had a look at those sights but they don't really have the things i'm looking for- the cinematic orchestra, supreme beings of leisure, martina topley-bird etc..the only reason i'm persevering with alltunes?sparkes is they do have loads of interesting stuff that i can't find on other sites...oh well, thanks anyway!
