oh this is not good. When i try to go to the balance page on mp3sparks i receive the error "We are sorry, but you cannot refill your balance at the moment. Please try again later." i also tried checking alltunes.com and they took away allpay and cmpass (as mentioned by other users), the only option is credit/debit cards which as we all no doesn't work. Now there's no way to pay at all! This totally bites for ppl with low balances . I still have $20.13 in my account so im ok for the time being but how long will this last!??? nobody knows. Hmm i hope they fix this soon! I'm gonna write assistance and hope that i won't get some stupid automated response. I suggest every1 write assistance about this, b/c if they get a lot of complaints they might speed things along...

I used P****s and was able to add money to my account -- even using Paypal! (Wow! This is so kewl. Has Barack de-fanged the RIAA while I wasn't looking?)

Only two minor glitches to report:

1) Once I got to the very last P****s page, there was no link saying "Return to Merchant's page," so to find out my Sparks balance, I had to back-page in Firefox to MP3Spark's Balance page, and then reload that.

2) Once I did that, I got good news and bad news: Ten dollars was indeed shown as added to my balance, but where the "Add to balance" line should be, was instead, "We are sorry, but you cannot refill your balance at the moment. Please try again later."

My guess is that the red message is an individual-member thing, and stays on someone's Balance page only till various humans at MP3Sparks or P****s have actually confirmed that money has been sent.

You are right Tom that's what I have heard from other members.They pick members at random and give them a one shot deal to fund their account,
and then,poof....it's gone.

Mp3sparks accepting allpay and cmpass again.... - 03-13-2009, 06:07 PM

Hey everyone, just checked sparks a couple mins ago and they are accepting payments through cmpass and allpay again . So it now appears to be safe to buy and sell vouchers again. Also sparks got back to me and offered to let me pay via mastercard although im not going to do it at this time b/c i have plenty of money on like three different sites including sparks lol. But just wanted to let everyone know that u can make payments again through vouchers.

Let us know me you get your personal bonus when using the vouchers. I heard that they stop with the personal bonus.

I refilled a few weeks ago and did not get my 20%-30%.

Update, not quite 48 hours later: on my Balance page, the red-background "We are sorry..." message is gone and the "Refill Balance" link is back.

Sparks not accepting CMPASS pin codes - 03-17-2009, 08:09 AM

I've not been able to pay with CMPASS for the last few days. I get the "Pay with CMPASS Pin Code" button, which takes me to a screen with just one input box, for the pin code. The second box for the password is missing. And sure thing when I put in my newly-bought pin code it responds "password invalid".

I've asked Assistance, but they've not responded. Anyone have any ideas?
