Unhappy TWENTY-FIVE friggin' bucks? - 12-28-2007, 08:54 PM

*De-lurks* First-time poster, ALLofMP3/MP3SPARKS subscriber since November 2004.

I have a sixty-four-cent MP3SPARKS balance, and I'm trying to decide whom to give more money to, or to start buying songs from Amazon.

When I first joined ALLofMP3 in 2004, requested payments were in units of five bucks. I went through five-dollar credits quickly. Then, a year ago, the prepay price went up to ten bucks. I worried then that I would not use up the entire ten bucks, and so would waste money, but fortunately(?), ALLofMP3 raised their prices.

By now I have downloaded between six and seven hundred songs. Every song I could possibly want, either I've already downloaded, or else ALLofMP3/MP3SPARKS doesn't carry that song.

Supposed I prepaid again, after my $0.64 balance ran out. I figure that, if the Russian government wouldn't close down these Russian music sites, eventually I'd download another five bucks' worth of songs.

So now I can see prepaying five bucks, or ten bucks, to boost my balance. But MP3SPARKS wants twenty-five dollars for me to renew.

Are there any Russian music sites that have a good catalog and that take ten-dollar payments? Or is there some way to make a ten-dollar payment to MP3SPARKS?

Otherwise I'll have to go to paying Amazon a dollar a song, and probably get less than 192 kbps sound quality.

Hi tomhr

Welcome to the forum.

Have you checked if you can refill your Mp3Sparks balance through www.alltunes.com ? The minimum card payment there is $10.

Hi and welcome!

There are other ways to refund your account!!

Perhaps you have the possibility to use PayPal (Phobozad or CMPASS)? Than you can add $10

Please visit this thread and enjoy the best music shop on earth!
