If you reread the forum rules, you will find that one of the obligations of a SENIOR forum member is to (and I quote): "...engage in extensive (but not necessarily quality) chit-chatting with the other senior forum members at least one time per forum visit."

So CONGRATULATIONS, jasn, and I guess we'll see much more of these kind of posts from you in the future

These might be the wisest words ever uttered by a "mere" Member of this forum, which bodes well for any future Senior Membership status, I might add

Hi Tom,

It`s not that difficult - just say what`s on your mind (however trivial) and join in with the discussions, serious or not.
You will find that when you become a Senior Member, you can relax, say what you feel, and feel that you really belong here.
Being a Senior Member affords you all sorts of privileges and perks that I couldn`t possibly go into here

Talking Long live chit chat!! - 06-21-2008, 12:53 PM

Well said, chamlin!!

It`s great to see such a positive attitude to the chit chat that goes on here.
I feel I need to make a shocking admission here - when I first started reading this forum (before I even became a member), the chit chat used to annoy me
But the more you get used to reading the various threads you learn to accept it, go along with it, enjoy it and embrace it
You get to know the personalities of the different members, relax in each other`s company and just generally make the most of the forum.
So, I would say to anyone who doesn`t like the chit chat, just try to get involved and enjoy it for what it is - just a bit of harmless fun
