fully agree with you, Vik. those were just few ideas how to fight the spam.

no final decisions, no unwelcome attitudes to newbees, you see
hopefully we will see strong captcha shortly

MP3skyline archmage. Over 3 100 000 tunes - ain't it magic?
one, two - buckle my shoe, three, four - shut the door, five, six - pick up sticks, seven, eight - lay em straight

I know they were just ideas to fight spam, but working backwards from a bad idea (blocking posts with links) to make it better is not good.

Anyway, why am I still typing instead of packing up my desk. We have an intra-office desk move, and I have to pack up and move 2 desks away from where I am now! For the sake of occupying that new desk for one month. Ridiculous

Well - to a degree. I wasn't included as part of the original plan, as I was supposed to long have left by September I would have stayed at my current desk otherwise. I feel like roadkill - in everyone's way

I'm sure there is a desk with your name on it sitting in an office somewhere in London wondering where you have got to.

Ashley
If you have one watch you know what the time is. But if you have two you don't know which one is right.

The more advice you get the more confusing it becomes.

There is! Imagine that? It's been sitting there collecting dust for the past few month. Literally with my name on it! No joke

Not too long to go now before you become acquainted with it.

I'm EXTREMELY glad that the bot that paid us a visit today 'only' made 63 posts and not a couple of hundred (or even more). It would have been really boring removing 150 posts until being able to remove the last 50 in one go

Do you see what I mean, aom3?
