I guess solaris is just looking for some pay and love......

Me, I don't care as much, but it is nice to be recognized for a job
well done........

And I thank you Sir Hirs for giving this place great spirit!
Lord Fly, I am not, for one second, suggesting that this particular thread is double posting. This thread is Solaris, quite justifiably, pointing out that he goes to extraordinary lengths to offer support and help to forum members and very rarely receives any thanks - in this case I was 'banged to rights' as I use open DNS and never thanked Solaris in the first place for his advise and direction.

However concerning double posting you may want to consider posts 1399 & 1400, both posted on different pages at a suspiciously similar time

...... oh and by the way Vik, you're right, Solaris can do as he damn well pleases (so indeed can Nightfly) because without them moderating this forum wouldn't be half the one that it is

........ yeh, yeh, and without your invaluable contributions I would have left long ago

You are absolutely right Sir....

But I just took your quote as springboard to an open opinion, didn't
mean to be so heavy handed and your post was so light hearted.

I just took liberty's with our friendship and I thought you'd understand....

Thanks for your very thoughtful post........

If you have one watch you know what the time is. But if you have two you don't know which one is right.

The more advice you get the more confusing it becomes.

Cotes du Rhone - I'm just getting to the end of a second 75cc bottle of Leffe Blond and that nice feeling is just starting.

ISP Blocking is not something I have ever had to worry about (good old BT).

NB. Just opened my second bottle of Wells Bombardier

It's been a long time
