I just noticed to my absolute amazement that absolutely NO ONE, NONE, ZILCH, ZERO forum members has used the Thanks-button in neither of the threads, where I have given advice on how to circumvent their respective ISPs attempt to block certain sites

Yeah, but we STILL point people to those two threads A LOT, when they come here whining about difficulties reaching their favourite sites

Hi Solaris, I used your recommendation but as Vik pointed out you did originally post in the pre thanks button days - but if I didn't thank you earlier then 'thanks'

What does concern me slightly, though, is that you appear to have 'double posted' the advise which I do believe is an infringement of the policies and rules of the forum (Solaris, Nightfly, aom could one of you please check that point out and point Solaris in the direction of the specific rule please - thanks )

Solaris can make and break the rules as he pleases

It is definitely not a double post because this thread is actually about
members not thanking him for the first post in a way that is definitely
deserved.All we really get for our efforts here is appreciation from other members for what we do for them here.That is our actual payment.
I guess solaris is just looking for some pay and love......

Me, I don't care as much,but it is nice to be recognized for a job
well done........

And I thank you Sir Hirs for giving this place great spirit!
